2nd day into the first week after 'O's

I'm bored.

I want to go out, go shopping. Not staying at home watch tv, go online or crochet.

I want to move about, go to Orchard with my friends, watch RED.

I want a change of scenery.

During O levels, I have fantisied about the end, that I could FINALLY! have a date with my friends.

But no one (except him) has contacted me.

Upset.

I'm still a friend, but not a close one it seems.

Sigh.


Bored...

I'm obsessed.

Indeed, the time spent on the Internet was all used to search the words "Unrefined Shea Butter" and there were many websites. An example is http://www.butters-n-bars.com/ . I thought their butters were cheap. Only US$5 but the shipping cost was just too high! About 19 dollars!
Why can't i find a cheap and good Shea butter...

And the real reason why I'm so obsessed with it right now is because

For eczema, Shea Butter is one of the best solutions available.

Therefore, i must try it. I really really hope that my eczema will reduce and --poof-- be gone the next day!

And then i got sidetracked by the other health websites and articles. For example: Care2, Health Mad, Buzzle.com, Greenopolis . I have now realised that there are plenty of health care related websites!

I really want to get it...

It's a week of HOLIDAY~

But unfortunately, i have to study. I have to spend my glorious week of holiday on studying. Damn... I hope this will be worth it when i get back my results.

HAPPY 45th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

I am proud to be a Singaporean because

I like it here.

Singapore is a society where people are not discriminated based on their gender, race or religion. I am a female and i absolutely hate it when i hear or read articles that show men treating women like dirt. I think they should be caned or maybe descend into the lowest level of hell for their actions. And i also know that in some countries, females are supposed to stay at home , do housework and take care of their family, which is why their families do not think these females should be educated. So i am blessed to be living here, in Singapore, where everyone is getting an education and no one is left out.

Singapore is also a peaceful country. There are no major riots, no acts of discrimination, no tsunamis, no earthquakes, no typhoons, relatively peaceful as compared to our neighbours. We don't have to worry about such disasters occurring because it won't.

I can blabber on but ... let's just get to the point.

My wish for Singapore is for her to be a prosperous nation who's Quality of Life is very high and that her people are living happily and know how precious Singapore actually is.

Travel Exhibition

Not that I'm a camera-whore but this is the first time I'm wearing a hair band outside so i think it should be celebrated.

And if you look carefully, you'll notice that somehow my position is the same in both pictures (no, they're not photo-shot) .

My family went to Suntec City, and saw this

at a travel exhibition.

He had been spinning for quite a while, around 4 minutes or so.

I wonder if he'd been dizzy.

I assume he is a Turkish man, based on his dance.

A closer look,

Then there was a free distribution of free Turkish ice cream.

And being a Singaporean, who could resist?

The ice cream was different as the usual ones; it was stretchy and chewy.

I saw on a programme that the ice cream prepared in Turkey had to be pounded to achieve this texture.

Yum.

It was interesting to see another country's culture and food. Perhaps someday I'll travel around the world to fulfill this wish .

Today

What happened today was an experience that didn't had that much an impact on my life but i think I'll more or less remember it.

For the quiz on YOG, i voluntarily went ran up to the steps of the stage to answer the question. I was surprised with myself because i didn't think i was that courageous. I mean, when i was in primary school, the presenter had picked me, of all people (but i think it was because i was wearing a pink jacket at that time), to go on stage to answer his question but i kept shaking my head. No, no, no.

And now i just ran there to answer. Could you see how much i support the YOG?

No, really. When he showed the question, i was thinking, "Will i regret it later? Will i regret it?" and then when no one went up, i just stood and ran.

Wow. I am kinda proud of myself of doing that, though i could have stared at the audience instead of just hiding my face behind my hair and staring at the screen and at him.

I'm pleased.

BTW, i was unable to win the prize --wrong answer-- but at least i had gain something much more in return.

Courage.

What time is it?

12.37pm!!!

Wow, it has been so long since we had such an early release (except on Fridays)! Usually our days would be like:
~3pm release, or 5/6pm release if we have mock exams. This is a good and nice change!

My wall looks so bleak after removing my anime posters

If you look closely, i bet you can see white lines on the wall, as a result of the posters being there for a year >_>

I am going through a phase

I feel as if i am going through a type of phase that will probably destroy me forever when i find out that i prefer that to my romance fiction books.

My hands now hold a *gasp* non-fiction book titled "Dangerous or Safe?"

 which is making me analyze what i am putting in my mouth. I am slightly horrified to note that i actually find this book kind of interesting. A month ago i wouldn't even spare such books a glance. Now, i am actually holding it!! (and reading it!!)

And i am using a conventional pencil. With a sharpener.

This isn't me.

First Time ...

I saw someone doing eyebrow tattoo right in my face

I am immensely disappointed with myself. IMMENSELY.

I can't believe that i did that! I just can't believe it... (Those whom have been in contact with me 1 hour after that has happened have already heard many times now but i still want to say: )

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED AT MY POOR PERFORMANCE IN THE ORAL EXAM!!!

I just ... There were so many pauses and words that i got wrong. And I'd repeated the WRONG WORDS again and again. Urg, i hate am very, extremely sad and unhappy. What was wrong with me at that time!! Why couldn't i be more calm?!!!

ARRRRRHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Something Unique

I just received an expected phone call. I thought the person was someone else. It was fun to talk with that person. :)

Another thing that i did today that was unique:

I walked until my toes hurt. Wearing the ladies' shoes does make the outfit look prettier but it does nothing for comfort. I guess i'm just too used to wearing men's shoes that had broader toe area...

I am currently reading up on all the JCs in Singapore and will apply DA to some. ... This is really a last minute decision. Haha.. There's some potential schools in my mind, but i'm not too sure about the courses they offer..

*sigh* Everything is so rushed now.

Yesterday

Hahaha!! I got new shoes! :D

(Realising this is kinda small thing but still decides to post this is slighty ... wonkers) I think this is the first time that i bought and will frequently wear a ladies shoe. Haha, i can't wait to wear it again. (Even though the gold colour looks a little ...bright.)

Annd, yesterday there was a partial eclipse. On the top left hand corner of the moon.
Then a few hours later, the shadow disappeared and reverted back into a full moon!
 How cool!

Sat.

I went out with Joey yesterday. I do have a life after all.

Did you know, Harris has Married by Morning by Lisa Kleypas?!!!! We were both drooling when we saw it. But it cost $18.95 ... So expensive... Urg

God, how i love Kleypas.

My happiness level has twofold-ed

Why?

Well, because we've received back all our Common Tests papers annnd, to sum it all, I got:

Social Studies -- 22/25 (Usually my SS is low, this is damn good a change!)

History -- 15/25  (  :\ disappointed with myself)

E Maths -- 93/100  ( ... OMG)

Physics  62/80  ( phew, that's good ^^)

English is a B4 or C5   ( I passed!)

In addition to my previous post

So yeah, I'm in a verrrry good mood today :D

Though i realise i'm one of the lucky few that didn't fail anything. BUT it does not mean that i won't fail in the months to come ( now i'm trying to be humble here people...). So with a little encouragement from you (my friends), i think i can do well for 'O's. ^^

Today's the day when we get back our Common Tests marks and i got

90 out of 100


for my A maths!! xDD I think my jaw just dropped when i heard that!

Plus my Chemistry and Chinese got 69/80 and 62 overall. I didn't fail~!

Furthermore, I got 43/50 for my Geography paper.

So i guess i am in a pretty good mood ^^

Though i realise that i shouldn't be too happy

cause this is not the 'O's yet,

i can't help but feel elated.

But I also realise that i'm showing off

but to me,

 it feels like i'm sharing my happiness with you,

Nothing can destroy my good mood today :D
