HAPPY 45th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!
I am proud to be a Singaporean because
I like it here.
Singapore is a society where people are not discriminated based on their gender, race or religion. I am a female and i absolutely hate it when i hear or read articles that show men treating women like dirt. I think they should be caned or maybe descend into the lowest level of hell for their actions. And i also know that in some countries, females are supposed to stay at home , do housework and take care of their family, which is why their families do not think these females should be educated. So i am blessed to be living here, in Singapore, where everyone is getting an education and no one is left out.
Singapore is also a peaceful country. There are no major riots, no acts of discrimination, no tsunamis, no earthquakes, no typhoons, relatively peaceful as compared to our neighbours. We don't have to worry about such disasters occurring because it won't.
I can blabber on but ... let's just get to the point.
My wish for Singapore is for her to be a prosperous nation who's Quality of Life is very high and that her people are living happily and know how precious Singapore actually is.
